I want to thank the PTO for organizing a retirement party at their April 17th meeting.  It was wonderful to have students, parents, and staff take time out to attend.  I have been honored to serve Lakeview Schools  for the past eighteen years.  I wish our students, families, and staff all the best moving forward.

Our 3rd and 4th grade students have been completing the English Language Arts state assessment this week.  We appreciate their work ethic in taking this assessment.  The Math state  assessment will be May 2nd and 3rd  and it is taken on the computer.

Congratulations to our Pawsitive Students of the Week; Braddock, Maxton, Brooklyn, Brayden, Adalena, Faith, Brynlee, Madison, Joshua, Scarlett, Kyle, and Kareem.  Your teachers notice your implementation of the seven habits.

Congratulations to our students who received a book from the Book Machine for their hard work demonstrating the seven habits in action: Kyle, Kareem, Adalena, Faith, Brayden, Brooklyn, and Maxton.  Keep up the great work!

The Four Seasons Garden Club came to LES and worked with our Kindergarten students.  Here is a picture of Mrs. Nelson (former Lakeview teacher) reading a story to students as the activity started.
