At the November Board of Education meeting, the Lakeview Board of Education and Mayor Petrosky recognized the students that participated in creating a large community mural at Cortland Mower. Thanks to the creativity and hard work of this group of talented students and their dedicated art teacher, Mr. Piper. Together, they designed and painted a vibrant, large-scale mural on the side of the building, transforming a blank wall into a stunning work of art that reflects our community's spirit. The mural, which features a rendering of the Mosquito Lake Causeway serves as a beautiful expression of the students' vision and the collaborative efforts of our school. Mr. Piper’s leadership and the students' enthusiasm brought this project to life, and it is a powerful reminder of how art can inspire, connect, and beautify our community. We are proud of their accomplishment and grateful for their contribution to making our district an even more vibrant place to live and learn.
