LMS Lately: September 12, 2022

Welcome back! LMS students started the year learning about our new positive behavior program at school. A revamped rubric of expectations has been taught during advisory time each week of the new school year. Students had grade level town hall meetings with Mrs. Handrych and Mr. Stowell to discuss the influence they have on the culture at LMS!

Miss Kmetz, Mrs. Churley, and Mrs. Petrunia helped to host our New Student Pancake Breakfast, all students new to Lakeview this year were invited to attend. Students shared where they moved from and a little about them!

Students in art have hit the ground running with lots of creative project completion. Shaving cream images, and other self-expressions are evident in their work. 

Students in Mrs. Graeser's 5th grade ELA enjoying the nice weather while it lasts. 

It's great to see our staff and students back in action at LMS!

Gym class is also in full swing, students in 5th-7th grades have 12 weeks of gym, 8th graders have 9 weeks of gym each school year.
