This is the last newsletter of the year. Thanks to our families and students for a great year. Enjoy summer break! We wish our 4th grade students the best as they transition to 5th grade. The opening day of classes for the 2023/2024 school year for grades 1-12 is Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023.
Lunch will not be served here at school on Thursday, May 25th, as students will be released at approximately 12pm or when the buses are here from their previous middle school/high school run. If a student wants to bring home a sack lunch on Thursday, they will need to order it on Wednesday, May 24th and they will pay for it on Thursday, May 25th if applicable. Lunch that day will be a Pepperoni Roll, fruit, and carrots.
Report cards K-4 will be mailed home. You can expect them home at some point during the week of June 5th, 2023 at the latest.
Congratulations to Hayden, Cecelia, Cyrus, and Logan for being selected as Pawsitive Students last week. Great work!
Thanks to our PTO and parent volunteers for organizing and running our two field days. We had great weather and the students enjoyed the events and the Kona Ice. Thanks for this wonderful experience for the students.
Thanks to our school bus drivers for all their dedicated work during Driver Appreciation Week. It is a challenging job but they do it well. Thanks for providing safe transportation for our students.
Thanks to the Cortland Community Foundation donation to Lakeview Elementary in honor of Miss Kmetz being selected state teacher of the year, we were able to have the Great Lakes Science Center for an assembly with our students. They really enjoyed it!
